lightload Towels for the Special Forces

Lightload Towels sponsored the Military speical orperations evernt below.

Dear Lightload Towels,

On March 21, 2010 the members of Joint Task Force Paladin South and Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit Eleven, located on Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan are sponsoring a 5K/10K race and ruck hump. The purpose of this race is to help support and raise awareness of the Wounded EOD Warrior Foundation. It’s also an opportunity to bring together the 67 different nations on Kandahar Airfield in the spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition. We are hoping that, with your donation, we can make this event exciting and enjoyable for the men women serving in Afghanistan as well as provide needed support to an extremely worthy cause.

It would be an honor and a great help to the foundation if you could donate some Lightload Towels products that we could use for incentives and prizes. Being in the military and part of the Special Operations community, we are constantly in the field operating or training in all kinds of environments. Most of the time we are carrying everything we need in our packs where space and weight are premiums. My wife bought me a couple of your towels before this latest deployment to Afghanistan and I included them in my pack during a mission. I used one almost immediately in a dust storm then later to clean up. They really are amazing. I continued to use it for a variety of tasks throughout that mission, washed it when I got back and took the same on the next. I have everybody wanting them now. I’m trying to talk the commands into buying cases of them to hand out for teams. I know that Lightload Towels have great products and this is a great opportunity to spread the word about them as well as help a worthy cause. There will be several hundred participants and many more spectators from all around the world. We will do all we can to ensure that the Lightload Towel name and products are prominently displayed for everyone to see and display a banner, or anything else if provided. We will also post pictures and articles on various websites and expect media attention.
